How do I use this FAQ section?

We have provided a list of common and frequently asked questions asked about our products and services to assist clients with finding a quick solution.

Simply click the relevant link below.

If you cant find the information or solution your looking for or think we need to add your question to improve this service please use the free phone number above or the web contact form.

My unit is operating erratically:

This is most commonly caused by a unit requiring a service.

To arrange a service, please contact our authorised service provider. Contact our Service Department

Can I install level switches from a second tank?

Yes; Connect a low level switch between terminals 9 & 11, and/or a high level switch between terminals 9 & 12. You will then need to request a re-commissioning to activate the second tank.

To arrange a Commissioning of a product, please complete the request form here.

Can I connect break-tank mounted level switches to my booster set?

Yes; almost any level switch can be connected to the controller in lieu of the factory fitted suction manifold probe.

For a low level switch remove all wires from terminals 9, 10 & 11 and connect switch between terminals 9 & 10 (See relevant wiring diagram for details) Please note: it is a make to run, break to stop circuit.

For a high level switch connect between terminals 9 & 13, Please note: it is a make to alarm circuit.

My unit is running the pumps but not making pressure:

If the unit is displaying “Power Up” and/or the Pressure display is flashing, the unit is in Power Up Mode and is slow filling the system. Leave all pumps in Auto, and normal function will be restored in approximately 6-10 minutes.

Also refer to Section 2.2 (System Alarms) of the relevant product operating manual.

Copies of current products manuals can be found here.

For older products, our information archive can be found here.

My unit says “Commissioning Needed”:

To arrange a Commissioning of a product, please complete the request form here.

If you wish to disable the Commissioning Needed alarm:

Press Set or View (Key 3), Press Reset Alarm (Key 7) until “New Installation” is displayed, Press Set or View (Key 3), “Adjust” appears, Press Reset Alarm (Key 7) Display changes to “Not Enabled”, Press Enter (Key 9) twice to exit menu.

My unit is in alarm and no pumps are operating:

Please read all current faults from the display (note: more than one alarm maybe displayed) and lookup the alarm in Section 2.2 (System Alarms) of the relevant product operating manual.

Copies of current products manuals can be found here.

For older products, our information archive can be found here.

My unit says “Service Due”:

I require a code for a unit:

A code is not required to view the parameter, commission or service a unit, only to change parameters and is there to protect all parties against irreparable damage being caused by unauthorised personnel. We have codes available for all units built after May 2008. In the case that you would like to request a code please follow the link below and if a code is available this will be sent to you.

Do AquaTech Pressmain Pressurisation units provide Fluid CAT 5 backflow protection?

Yes, all AquaTech Pressmain units actually provide blackflow protection to Fluid CAT 5. We achieve this by way of a WRAS approved float valve and AA or AB airgap. Our MP, 2ETM and AP ranges have AB air gaps and our SP, SB and AS ranges have AA airgaps.
