The ‘Mothership’ is a dedicated service hub installed within a standard shipping container which provides water, drainage and electrical services to the bedroom units of Snoozebox Portable Hotel.
Aquatech Pressmain’s Booster set is a vital part of the service hub, allowing the mothership to supply hot and cold running water at a constant safe pressure.Aquatech Pressmain produced a bespoke design to suit the limited space constraints, with no compromise on specification offering the latest high-efficiency variable speed pumps.
Snoozebox, designed by Atelier Ten, was first installed at the F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone in 2011 and was a fantastic success. It is now a regular sight at events such as the Isle of Man TT, various music festivals and most recently made an appearance in the grounds of Windsor Castle for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant in May 2012.
Built using a Mothership to support bedroom units within 12-metre shipping containers, Snoozbox Portable Hotels are designed to be self-sufficient for use in remote locations and can be set up ready for guests within 48 hours of arriving on site.
